BANGBANG Spray Instructions

BANGBANG IS EMULSIFIED BLOOD + EGG PROTEIN + FISH + FAT and is supplied as a 1L concentrate that makes 10L final spray. 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

  1. BANGBANG can be applied via a small handheld sprayer or a backpack sprayer.

  2. Shake the container and add to water at a ratio of 1-part BANGBANG to 9-parts water. So, to make 10L spray add the 1L concentrate to 9L of water.

  3. SPRAY A LIGHT COAT ONLY onto the plant at high pressure BEFORE the point of run-off. Any fluid runoff is no problem; it will enhance the smell and protection zone of the plant.

  4. Plants can be sprayed prior to planting. In this case the repellent will go a lot further if sprayed while plants are in the box. Best to let the seedlings dry out for a day, and wear gloves to keep the smell off your hands!

  5. Best practice is to NOT spray when plants-trees are stressed – and that goes for the application of any spray - so AVOID direct sunlight, hot weather, drought, strong winds and also when the plant has already been sprayed in the last 14 days with any other chemical. The target seedling should be in good shape, hydrated and relatively stress-free when BANGBANG is applied!

  6. Although BANGBANG is generally rain-fast after 4-6 hours or so, DO NOT SPRAY if rain is due the same day as it needs time to dry. THE TARGET PLANT/TREE MUST BE DRY BEFORE SPRAYING!

  7. BANGBANG will NOT harm most plants. We have tested on numerous common shelter-belt tree seedling varieties, broad-leafs, conifers, eucalypts, natives, deciduous trees, grasses, etc with few issues. However, because there are thousands of plants-trees-shrubs-grasses-ornamentals out there we cannot test them all so if in doubt just trial spray a small area and wait a week to see if any problems.

  8. BANGBANG only needs to be applied once a month. However, in ideal conditions expect 1-2 months protection. In spring/summer when new growth occurs, or when there is persistent or heavy rain then more frequent applications will be required.

  9. Quantities are based on an average 20ml per 400-500mm tree seedling, so a 10L final mix should cover about 500 seedlings. Expect to get 10-20 times this level of coverage if sprayed while in bulk prior to planting.

STORAGE AND CARE

  • Keep stored in a cool place out of sunlight and out of reach of children.

  • Do not mix with any other liquid except water.

  • Do not ingest the fluid. Keep the spray out of your eyes. Just take sensible precautions.

  • Always wash hands after use.

SPRAY VERY LIGHTLY...DO NOT DROWN THE PLANT.
